... and Welcome to Mapi's Golden website. We are a small family-run amateur breeding kennel in Rome/Italy. Our five Goldens, Glowing Daphné, Thuaidh Gigolò, Thuaidh Chloé, Méribel and Miss Dior would like to invite you to share a glimpse of their lifestyle.

Breeding Golden Retrievers is our passion. Our dogs live with us, they are part of our lives, they share our house, and I have to confess, sometimes even our armchairs ! And above all, they give us moments of great happiness. In turn, we endeavour to give them all the love and devotion to which they are entitled, taking into account the individual personality of each one and making sure that they have a serene and balanced existence.

When the puppies are born - it is the same story ! Of course, it is not an easy affair. After having paid a lot of care and attention to the character, health and beauty of Mummy and Daddy, in order to assure that the puppies receive the natural gifts of this marvellous breed and to reduce all possibility of any potential genetic defects, their birth is always celebrated with huge enthusiasm all round. Our puppies, born and bred in our home are always the recipients of a great amount of care and attention on behalf of all, both the two-legged and four-legged inhabitants. But also, we hope, by their future owners who are invited to visit them frequently to enable the puppies to familiarise themselves with them and socialize fromm a very early age.

All breeders have their own philosophy... Ours is to make sure that our "Mapi's" grow up to become beautiful Golden Retrievers, healthy and balanced and capable of improving the lives of all those who have gained their confidence and friendship.
